Ever had those days..

Where you look into a mirror and bemusedly wonder why there’s a baboon’s bottom where your face should be?
Then, you feel bad about being so egocentric that the same day you decide to go for a long bike ride, and then up a mountain trail and think: ‘there’s more important things in life than my face’.

So then you go to your nearest soup kitchen and spend three hours there, and after you go pray.

And then you come and your face is still bah looking, and your family is still dysfunctional and your life is still not perfect. But it’s a hell of a lot more to be thankful than what most have.
